The starting point is usually an initial briefing meeting, where the subject, content and objectives of the seminar to be produced for assessment are discussed and agreed.  It is also valuable at that meeting to consider the availability and sourcing of the material that will be required for incorporating into the design and visual elements of the presentation  

A proposed outline structure will then be produced for consideration and when agreed this will provide the basic structure on which the main presentation will be developed.
